Welcome to Freedom Racer
On 22 January 2007, I crossed the finishing line of the Dakar Rally at Lac Rose in Dakar, West Africa for the first time. After an exhilarating 10,000 km over 16 gruelling days, I had finally achieved my dream. It has been a long, hard road in 2006. I was forced to pull out of the Dakar after 5 days with a dislocated shoulder and broken ribs. Later that year, during the Sertoes Rally in Brasil I got chronic food poisoning. Despite 12 hours throwing up in my helmet and even swallowing my own tongue. I finished and notched-up my first world rally championship points. Now, I and the CBV Racing team have our sights set on the 2008 Sertoes Rally in Brasil and, the ultimate test of man and machine the 2009 Dakar. And we're inviting you to join us. We're currently looking for sponsors to share the passion, the exhilaration and the achievement of adventure that goes beyond common human limits.
